What is Unraveled’s Quiltathon? It’s a marathon day of sewing for a cause! When you sign up, you promise to go out and find pledges from your family and friends for your day of sewing. It can be a pledge for each hour you make it, or just a single donation. Then you come and set up your sewing machine at a table in our parking lot, under a big tent, and sew the day away!
What does the day look like? We open the parking lot up at 9:00am for you to set up. Bring your sewing set up and projects. Unraveled will provide the tables and the big tent. We’ll also provide lunch, snacks, drinks and dinner. Sewing starts at 10am! Sew, sew, sew all day! We call it officially quits at 2am.
When is it? Saturday, August 8th 10:00am-2:00am
Who are we raising money for this year?
Compass Rose Farm Sanctuary Compass Rose started as a pot-belly pig rescue and has bloomed into a beautiful safe haven for over 250 animals, including pigs, horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, and guinea fowl. They are dedicated to providing lifelong sanctuary for farm animals rescued from situations of abuse, neglect, financial hardship, and many other circumstances. Their mission is to support and enhance the well-being of farm residents through excellent nutrition and veterinary care, as well as through the provision of safe, comfortable, and appropriate living environments. The Sanctuary at Browning Farms The Sanctuary is a 110-acre farm animal rescue and sanctuary located in Spencer, Indiana. They are dedicated to taking in animals in need, providing necessary medical and healthcare, and educating rural communities on proper pet care. We are also taking donations for Friskies Dry and Wet Cat Food. The Sanctuary goes through a case a day! More info here: The Sanctuary at Browning Farms
How can you participate? Give us a call at (812) 821-0309! There is a $35 fee to participate. This helps offset the cost of the tent and meals. Unraveled makes no profit from this event. All money raised goes directly to our community. Then, get to asking for pledges!

Our sunny workspace has space for you and your friends to gather and sew. With large white tables, ironing and cutting stations and design boards, it’s the perfect place to sew the day away. We also provide a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster oven to make your visit comfortable! Just $10 per person for the whole day!
